Vocal Point-Carrie Severino

In 2018, Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh was almost denied a place on the court because of uncorroborated allegations of sexual harassment in his youth. A couple of weeks ago, the New York Times ran a piece of another uncorroborated allegation against Kavanaugh, and they had to back pedal and apologize for it. Carrie Severino, along with Mollie Hemingway of the Federalist Society, has written a best-selling book on Justice Kavanaugh and the fight to get him confirmed on the high court—Justice on Trial, a New York Times bestselling book no less. Carrie Severino is the chief counsel and policy director of the Judicial Crisis Network. Carrie Severino joins Jerry Newcombe on Vocal Point to discuss this new baseless allegation and the attempt to smear Justice Kavanaugh’s reputation.   @JCNSeverino
