Topic: The Threat of China.

Dr. Richard Land, the president emeritus of Southern Evangelical Seminary and the Executive Editor of the Christian Post, wrote a column on the threat of Red China: “The Winter Olympics: A moral barometer for the civilized world.” While lamenting that China should never have been allowed to host the Olympics in the first place, people of good will should even boycott watching them or supporting the games this time around. Dr. Land writes, “The Christian Post believes that would be grossly unfair to the athletes from all over the world who have trained so diligently for years preparing to compete at this highest level. After all, the athletes have done nothing wrong, and they should not be punished for the irresponsibility, amorality, and avarice of their respective governments.” And he adds, “The Chinese Communist government has revealed itself to be perhaps the closest thing to the reincarnation of the Third Reich that the world has seen since that barbarous, demonic regime was blasted into oblivion in 1945.
