Vocal Point-George Roller

Topic: Ministry to Capitol Hill Members

Since 2003, George Roller, a retired school teacher with a law degree, has engaged in ministry in Washington, D.C. to members of the House of Representatives, to Senators, and to the staff who serve these 535 elected politicians. It is estimated that about 20,000 or so young people, many in their 20s and 30s work on Capitol Hill. George Roller, who has been trained in Evangelism Explosion, leads people to Christ and disciples them. He and his wife Linda began this ministry for more than a decade at the D. James Kennedy Center for Christian Statesmanship. Later he continued the same type of work with Hope to the Hill. George Roller joins Jerry Newcombe to talk about how God is active, often under the radar, among many of those who work on Capitol Hill. www.hopetothehill.com
