Vocal Point-Mike Berry

This is a church-state type case. In Maryland, near D. C., is a large cross that is a war memorial. The skeptics are trying to get it torn down. First Liberty writes: “For nearly 90 years, the Bladensburg WWI Veterans Memorial stood without complaint.  Dedicated in 1925, the memorial honors the memory of 49 residents of Prince George’s County who died serving our country in World War I.  Now, The American Humanist Association wants this timeless veterans memorial torn down.” On October 18, 2017, the Fourth Circuit Court orders the removal of the cross. Mike Berry of First Liberty (Institute), which is fighting for the cross, joins Jerry Newcombe on Vocal Point to discuss this case and why it matters. www.firstliberty.org
