America’s founders said our rights come from God. Communist leaders assert there is no God. Well, if there is no God, then how do we retain our rights? We don’t. And yet today we see many young Americans embracing communism and wanting to see it come to America. Socialism has better branding among the youth than does capitalism. Virginia Prodan is glad to be in America. She grew up in Communist Romania and served as a Christian lawyer, defending the rights of believers in that land. She describes her miraculous escape from death in her book, Saving My Assassin. In a previous Vocal Point, she tells what happened. Today, Virginia Prodan decries the popularity of socialism that is rising in America, her adopted country. She believes Americans need to lose our naivety and become apprised of what socialism really means for those who live under it, as she did.
