George Washington Turned Down Being a King

The photo is of Dr. Peter Lillback and Jerry Newcombe at George Washington’s home, Mt. Vernon (2004, for research on their book on Washington’s faith). Lillback and Newcombe wrote what became a bestseller, George Washington’s Sacred Fire (2006).
