For example, Isaac Watts wrote great hymns, such as “When I survey,” and he is the one who wrote the words to “Joy to the World.” The music was written by George Friedrich Handel. The words to the carol “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” were written by Charles Wesley, and the music came from Felix Mendelsohn. Christmas carols are a great way to keep Christ in Christmas.
