Vocal Point-Denise Shick

Topic: Dealing with LGBTQ+ Loved Ones.

The Declaration of Independence was based on “the laws of nature and of nature’s God.” But critics note that the transgender movement is at war with “the laws of nature and of nature’s God.” When she was 9 years old, Denise Shick’s father told her that he was really supposed to be a girl. Denise Shick is the director of Help4Families, which describes itself as “an outreach that brings an understanding of the emotional pain and spiritual confusion that people face when a loved one has gender-identity confusion.” How do we deal with loved ones involved in the LGBTQ+ movement? Denise has written a book to help, from a Biblical perspective. It’s called, Moving Forward in Community. Denise writes: “We have a choice to make. We either invite God into our pain and allow Him to minister to us, or we push Him aside and attempt to navigate our losses and challenges without Him.” Denise Shick joins Jerry Newcombe on Vocal Point to discuss a Christian response to the transgender movement that is sweeping much of our culture. www.help4families.com
