Vocal Point-Dr. Greg Seltz
Topic: Christians and Voting.
A sacred right we have in America is that of voting. And yet many studies seem to indicate that lots of professing Christians are often on the sidelines and not voting. But Calvin Coolidge once said, “If good men don’t hold office, bad men will.” Christians should indeed be involved in the electoral process—otherwise we turn things over to those who do not have a Christian view of good government. Dr. Gregory P. Seltz, the executive director of the Lutheran Center for Religious Liberty, fights for religious liberty in America out of his Washington, D.C.-based office. Dr. Gregory Seltz, the speaker emeritus on the Lutheran Hour, joins Jerry Newcombe to discuss the church and politics. www.lcrlfreedom.org
