Vocal Point-Dr. Paul Jehle
Topic: Celebrating the Pilgrims.
In 1989, on the 100th anniversary of the unveiling of the massive Forefathers Monument in Plymouth, Massachusetts, Dr. D. James Kennedy gave the keynote speech. He spoke about how the Mayflower Compact began “In the name of God. Amen.” And he said that’s how America began “In the name of God. Amen.” 2024 marks the 135th anniversary of the Forefathers Monument, and Dr. Robert J. Pacienza will be speaking in Plymouth in Paul Jehle’s church about America’s godly heritage. I’m Jerry Newcombe, and I’ll have the privilege to deliver a short message at the Forefathers Monument on the weekend’s celebration of the Pilgrims. The main speaker on Saturday August 3rd will be David Bradford, who is a direct descendant by 13 generations of the long-time Pilgrim leader and chronicler, Gov. William Bradford. Dr. Paul Jehle, the president of the Plymouth Rock Foundation and a pastor in Plymouth, joins Jerry Newcombe to discuss the importance of the Pilgrims.
