Our annual Thanksgiving holiday gets back to the Pilgrims who founded Plymouth in 1620. In 1889, the largest granite statue in America (81 feet tall) was “unveiled” in Plymouth to celebrate the incredible legacy of this Christian congregation (the Pilgrims) that helped cast a long and positive shadow on what would become the United States. On August 3, 2024, Dr. Jerry Newcombe, executive director of Providence Forum, a division of Coral Ridge Ministries, was privileged to speak about the Pilgrims on the 135th anniversary of the special Forefathers Monument in Plymouth. www.providenceforum.org
