Vocal Point-Nick Searcy
Topic: The War on Truth
The founders of America created a system where free and fair elections were a bedrock to our nation and our freedoms. If there is massive fraud in voting, then that disenfranchises the voting of those who don’t engage in vote fraud. One of the most controversial days in the history of our constitutional republic was January 6th, as in January 6, 2021, when Trump supporters from around the country came to Washington, D.C. for a pro-Trump rally that questioned the fairness of the elections of 2020. Did Biden honestly win Georgia or a few other swing states? Was there monkey business involved? Many of those who came to D.C. on that fateful felt they should speak out about this. Meanwhile, there were those, ostensibly Trump supporters who surrounded the Capitol and in some cases broke windows and removed the gates so they could go in the Capitol. We have been told that Trump and his supporters were trying to create an insurrection. Several of the J6 defendants are in prison—have they all been charged? Have they all been convicted? Has the truth about all these things been made known to the American people? Nick Searcy is a brilliant filmmaker. If you’ve seen “Gosnell,” you know what I’m talking about. He directed it and played a major role in it. Now he’s teamed up with Chris Bugard, an award-winning film-maker and they have produced a movie called “The War on Truth,” which provides information about the January 6 mini-riot at the Capitol. Nick Searcy joins Jerry Newcombe to discuss this whole controversy. www.thewarontruthmovie.com
