Vocal Point-Rev. Dean Nelson

Topic: Abortion and the Black Community

Is there a correlation between abortion and violence? Mother Teresa once said that if we can accept that a mother can kill her own child, how can we tell others not to kill one another? With all the racial riots going on and the violence in the streets, it is easy to overlook an area of injustice and that is the war on the black unborn babies. 79% of Planned Parenthood facilities to this day are in predominantly black and Latino neighborhoods. The founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, even expressed an interest in killing off blacks as much as possible—but hiding that fact. Reverend Dean Nelson, executive director of Human Coalition Action and Chairman of the Frederick Douglass Foundation, joins Jerry Newcombe on Vocal Point to discuss abortion and the black community. www.hucoaction.org
