Vocal Point-Serene Hudson

Topic: Anti-Semitism.

This year Israel celebrates its 75th anniversary as an independent nation. The United States was among the first countries to recognize the new nation. And yet in the United States today, there is a growing sentiment against Israel. Pinkston Communications notes, “Antisemitism is on the rise; [recently] neo-Nazis planned a “Day of Hate” against Jewish people, and the “Jew hunter” in LA was also singling out Jewish victims for violence.  89% of American Jews say that antisemitism is a problem in the U.S. today, and over 25% of American Jews were the victim of an antisemitic incident last year…Serene Hudson [works] with Passages, an organization that has brought over 10,000 Christian college students to Israel to deepen their faith and stand with the Jewish people against hate.” Serene Hudson joins Jerry Newcombe on Vocal Point to discuss Israel’s major anniversary and anti-Semitism today. www.passagesisrael.org
