Vocal Point-Robert Spencer

Topic: Anti-Semitism at Columbia and Beyond.

In 1754, in New York City, King’s College was established. They advertised for the new school this way. “The chief thing that is aimed at in this college is to teach and engage children to know God in Jesus Christ.” Today, still in New York City, King’s College is known as Columbia University. But like virtually all the other early colleges in America, Columbia long ago abandoned its Christian roots. Fast forward to today, and there are about 5,000 Jewish students there, and they are now at risk because of pro-Hamas demonstrations. A leading Jewish rabbi at Columbia encouraged the Jewish students to leave the campus for safety sake. Often the unspoken aspect of this story is radical Islam. Robert Spencer is a NYT bestselling author on Islam and Jihad and Sharia. Robert Spencer joins Jerry Newcombe on Vocal Point to discuss the pro-Hamas sentiment common on too many college campuses today. www.jihadwatch.org
