Topic: Is Affirmative Action Biblical Justice?
How are we to respond to the recent Supreme Court decision that struck down affirmative action in the application process? Is justice color-blind or is it not? Are policies that favor one race over another race racist or are they not? Proponents of quotas argue that these policies, like Affirmative Action, race based quotas, were created to counteract egregious acts of racism in the past. Some Christians note that what we need today is more Biblical, not social, justice.
