July 4th, 1776 marks the date when 56 men of the Continental Congress voted to adopt the final wording of the Declaration of Independence. In that document, the founders declared independence from Great Britain, while at the same time, they declared dependence upon Almighty God, whom they mentioned 4x in that document.
